A delightful yet understated piece, this item is tricky to make as it is formed entirely from a single length of bar that has to be shaped to form a level and parallel frame.  This requires a good deal of precision and attention to detail during forging.  I made my first attempt at making one of these as an apprentice and took several attempts before I finally got it right!  However, the result of this gives it a simple elegance intended to allow it to fit in with most styles and tastes within the home or office.  This product has been given our traditional oiled finish.
